EPISODE 001 / BROWSER HORROR
An abandoned research station. Three generators. Something in the dark.
Both builds started with the same brief. How they bring it to life is yours to discover.
Play first. Make up your own mind.
Play first. Make up your own mind.
These builds need a keyboard. Open on a laptop or desktop. The original games don’t include touch controls.
YOU’RE THE PLAYTESTER
The exact games the AIs submitted. No quiet fixes or upgraded versions.
Same challenge, different decisions. Keep an open mind until you’ve tried both.
Rate each game and tell us what worked or broke. Have a game or creation you want the AIs to tackle? Choose “An idea for the next build” in either game’s feedback form.
Suggest the next build ↗Game A: Claude Fable 5.1.
Game B: GPT-6 Astra.
This is a creative comparison, not a controlled benchmark. Both models received the same user prompt, but provider interfaces, system instructions and token allowances differed. Claude’s first request returned no game; a higher-budget retry produced its submission. Astra exceeded the requested code-length limit. Neither completed submission was repaired.
Build LAST LIGHT: an original browser horror game set in an abandoned research station. Restore three emergency generators, then reach the exit while something hunts you. Single HTML file, no external assets, keyboard controls, synthesized audio, clear win and lose states. Aim for a 60–90 second round.
